Over 50's

From the age of 30 we lose approximately 0.5% of our muscle mass each year. Once we hit 50, that loss of muscle mass accelerates rapidly.

If you're over 50, regular strength training can help maintain your muscle tone and strengthen your bones. It will also help guard against osteoporosis, diabetes and heart disease.

Research has shown that regular moderate exercise can add 1 1⁄2 years to a person's life, while regular vigorous exercise can add up to an 3 extra years. Better still, those that exercise regularly enjoy more vigour and vitality in their later years.

If you're over 50 and you want to feel great and live longer, call us on (03) 9387 0800 to find out how we can tailor a fitness program for you.
